I got a recorded call supposedly from BT, informing me I'd be getting a new router and to press 1 to schedule an engineer visit. So, I pressed 1 and ended up talking to some dodgy bloke from India who told me the delivery would be at 10am the next day. Then he asked me to install some software so they could set up the router remotely. Turned out the program was AWESUN, which allows full access to your computer. When I made it clear I wasn’t falling for the scam and gave him a piece of my mind, he promptly hung up.
