Some guy called Paul Richards claimed he was from high court enforcement and said they needed to collect a debt. He promised no extra fees if I paid straight away over the phone. Sounds dodgy to me, not falling for that rubbish. Ha!

This dude called pretending he’s a high court enforcement officer trying to collect a debt. Says they’ve taken steps against me or something. Best thing to do is get all his info and have a look on the high court enforcement officers association site. They’re pretty strict about behaviour and faking identities isn’t taken lightly. Honestly, report this twat!

High court enforcement officers never call you first. They only carry out a writ of execution, which means you’d already been to court and lost. What you’ve got here is a classic publishing scam hoping folks will fall for it. Don’t just ignore, report them to Action Fraud, Trading Standards, your local Chamber of Commerce, ICO, police and any watchdog you can think of. They’re trying to mess with us, so let’s make sure they get a taste of their own medicine.

High court enforcement officers won't just ring you out of the blue. They come after a writ of execution has been issued, meaning you've been to court and lost. The callers are just running a dodgy publishing scam, hoping folks aren't sharp enough to spot it. Best thing is to report them to Action Fraud, the Chamber of Commerce, ICO, Trading Standards, the police, the watchdog, and the Federation of Small Businesses. They’re just trying to waste our time - let's make sure we return the favour.

For two days straight, I kept getting calls from Paul Richards about some money he said I owed. I requested a copy of the invoice, which they did send over eventually. However, when I asked for further details and a copy of the advertisement they mentioned, they refused to provide it. I calmly explained that I needed that info to sort out the payment, but since then, they've completely gone quiet. FYI, the address they gave is just a virtual office on Great George Street, Leeds, LS1 3AJ. I decided to call their bluff and it seems I was right to do so.

Got a call from a bloke named Paul Richards claiming I owed money for some advert I supposedly hadn’t paid for. Funny thing is, he tried this exact stunt on me last year and we even reported him to trading standards back then. He sent over an invoice with the number 0001 on it, saying he had loads of clients, but couldn’t show me the advert or any evidence that we ever agreed to anything. We don’t even know the magazine he mentioned. Last time, he got really nasty and started threatening me and the director with legal trouble. Looks like he’s just the same as before!

Got a call from some bloke called Paul Richards claiming to be from UK Enforcement Debt, saying I owed money for an invoice from a firm i've never even heard of or advertised with. It’s not the first time I’ve had calls like this - always a new company, a different sum, and some dodgy invoice. When I asked for any proof or more info, they promised to email it but I never got anything. Feels like a total scam to me.

I got a call from this bloke who was really rude. When I asked him for a current writ number, he had no idea what I was talking about and said it doesn’t work like that. Then he just told me to f#k off and now he won’t pick up any calls back. Proper unpleasant experience.

Honestly, it’s a complete rip-off. Never hand over your bank info to these lot. Just tell them to sort it out in court if they’ve got a problem. Stay safe!
