Received a message and tried looking it up, but instead of showing search results, it took me straight to some site! Thought I'd see results first, not go straight there. The page just mentioned something like a test or booking server? I'm not sure what got installed though. Could it be spyware? Feeling a bit wary of using my laptop till I figure out what's going on. Would really appreciate any advice or tips. Already done a full scan with Norton, and it didn't flag anything shady or dangerous.

Got a message from this number saying it was the nhs telling me I’d been near someone with covid - but I hadn’t even been outside on that day, so obviously it’s fake! The spelling was really bad as well. Don’t click on the link they send to book any tests. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a text saying it was from nhs-uk but the sender was just a random phone number. The message said I’d been near someone with omicron and needed to book a pcr test through a link. NHS never use regular numbers like that for texts. I just deleted it and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some supposedly NHS health people saying I was near someone with Omicron. They told me to order a PCR test from some dodgy site book-pcr-test.com. Total scam, didn’t trust it and blocked the number straight away.
