The site asked for loads of personal info and then wanted my card details to send the test kit and charge 99p. The big red flag was the mobile number itself - NHS don’t use mobile numbers for this kinda thing. Don’t freak out and put your card info in, it's a scam, the NHS wouldn’t contact you from a personal mobile.

Got a text earlier today at around 11:27 from +44 7563 812058 saying: “NHS-UK HeaIth Department: You’ve been near someone with confirmed Omicron. You need to arrange a PCR test here: book-your-test.com”. It felt dodgy straight away and after checking the comments here, especially about them asking for card info and the NHS app not confirming anything, plus my phone flagging it as unsafe, I’m certain it’s a scam. I’ve sent it on to 7726 (Scam Text Reporting) with the number too. Cheers to everyone who shared their experiences!
