I got a call from someone claiming to be National Grid but I rang my power company and they told me National Grid doesn’t phone customers themselves. So be careful and don’t give them any info. If you want to reach National Grid you should use this number instead: 02081232471.

Watch out! Never ever share photos of your bills or meter with these people, it’s a total scam.

Beware, this was a total scam! They began by saying our meter needed to be replaced and that we were owed a refund of about £xxx. It all sounded so legit but trust me, don’t get caught out by it.
