This number is definitely a scam. They initially pretended to be from Citizens Advice Bureau, but when I told them that CAB never make cold calls, they quickly switched to trying to get me to do some survey. Don’t share anything with these people!

This number is definitely a scam, and anyone who gets a call from it needs to report it to the police straight away. Just search 'action fraud' on Google, find the 'police.uk' page, and use their 'report' section to flag it as a phishing try. You don’t have to sign up or anything. After that, block the number and leave a note here for others.

Got a call from an Indian guy with really bad English, claiming he was from Citizens Advice and needed to talk about my debts. He started asking for personal stuff, even who my life insurance is with. I told him he was just a scammer and to remove my info. He got quite nasty and argumentative. Ended the call and blocked the number. Will be reporting this to the proper authorities. No way I’m having dodgy people like this threatening me at home! What a load of rubbish!

Some bloke with an accent I couldn't place rang me saying he was told today about some debts I was supposedly failing to settle. I told him I didn’t owe anything and that it sounded like a scam (I said a few things I won't repeat here, didn’t hold back though!) then cut him off before he could finish. Blocked the number straight away.

got a call from someone with an indian accent claiming he's from a cab company. i told him to get lost and that id report him to the police and fraud team. how dumb are these scammers? legit cab services don’t call you out of the blue unless you book them. these scammers need to be stopped asap, especially when there’s footage online showing them laughing in their call centres about scamming folks. they belong behind bars, not ripping off honest people everywhere.

Someone rang my missus saying they knew she owed money on her bank account, claimed they had FCA permission and offered some sort of debt help. Got a call from this number, bloke sounded Indian. I asked if he was trying to sell me something, he said no. Then he said it was about some investigation into people repaying debts. I told him straight up I owe nothing whatsoever - no debts at all. He said sorry and promised to take me off their list. I think I put him off ‘cause I was pretty firm. Tried ringing back but it said 'number unreachable.' Typed the number in and ended up on this site.

Didn’t feel right, so I asked again to be removed, mentioning it looked dodgy since they were ringing from a mobile number. Then he just cut me off.
