I had an unexpected phone call from a woman identifying herself as Lisa Smith, inquiring about the business owner. When I mentioned that he doesn't take calls, she became quite abrasive and insisted she would reach him on his mobile instead. I explained that he doesn't possess a mobile phone, which sparked a debate, with her adamantly claiming that he does and that she has the number. As he's my father-in-law, I can assertively say that this information is false. She then informed me that she would be calling his mobile at half eight the following morning and that he’d know who she was. After discussing it with him, it turns out he’s completely unaware of any such call! Just a heads-up for everyone out there!

I received a phone call from someone identifying herself as Lisa Smith, supposedly representing the National Applications Team. She inquired specifically for my manager by name, but when I informed her he was unavailable, she promptly requested his mobile number. I made it clear that I couldn't share that information, to which she casually replied, "It's fine, it's just popped up on my screen." Quite the coincidence! Given that my Director had no knowledge of this organisation, it certainly raises a few eyebrows.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Amy from Altas Energy, asking for me directly. I found it rather peculiar that she was using a mobile number, which seems rather unusual for an energy provider.

I made a note of the number and promptly ended the conversation. Shortly after, I got another call from 02030530779. Just ten minutes later, an anonymous number tried to reach me again. They asked for me by name once more, then casually mentioned, "Oh, I believe I spoke to you earlier," before abruptly hanging up. The conversation revolved around an energy account for a property that "I'd just taken over," even though we’ve lived in this house for six months now and this is a completely new number. Definitely something dodgy about this - be cautious!
