So, the phone rang and it was someone I think I know, but I got a bit sus about it. They wanted me to confirm if the number was the one I recognised. Then they started asking for their full name. It felt like they were fishing for more info than they should.

My sister got tricked into giving £20 for a phone top-up voucher. The worst part? They used the name of a relative who had just been seriously ill, totally a horrible coincidence. Some people are just awful. Really hope the police manage to nab them.

Got a call from someone acting like a relative who’d hurt themselves and ended up in hospital. They then asked me to buy a £20 02 top-up voucher. I wouldn’t trust this number if I were you.

Got a text saying they were in hospital and needed an operation after falling earlier today. They said the signal was rubbish and asked me to reply by text. The funny thing is, they accidentally put my name as the sender, so it looked like I was texting myself!
