I reckon that phone number is from a really sketchy call centre. Wouldn’t trust them at all.

I answered the call but there was nobody speaking, just a lot of noise in the background, kinda like a telemarketing office. So I just blocked the number.

Phone rang, some guy saying “hi, I’m Adam” (with an Asian accent). He asked if I had any unpaid debts. I just said “Nope, that’s not right!” and ended the call immediately!

Heaps of background chatter coming from the phone. The caller asked me directly by name and claimed to be from a debts collection company. I just ended the call.

So this number rings up claiming they can save me like 25% on what I owe, right? I ask how much they think I owe, and I just told them to jog on and blocked the blasted thing. Not falling for that!

I didn't pick up at first, but then they called right back again almost immediately.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a debt collector about a payday loan. When I questioned where they got my info from, because I was thinking of taking legal action for giving out false details, they just ended the call.
