These fraudsters seem to be having an absolute blast. When I called them out for targeting old and vulnerable folks, they got really smug. One of them sneered, “While you lot struggling on your modest meals, if you can even manage that, we’ll be chillin’ on a Miami beach, drinking cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor in no time.” They bragged about living it up and making millions even as everyone else’s wages shrink during this cost of living crisis. Bloody infuriating. 🤬

Phone buzzed once or twice, seemed like they just wanted to see if my line was active. Right after, I got a quick text that said “Hi” - felt more like a robot than an actual person calling. Blocked the number and put in a report.

I got a ring from this number, but it just buzzed then cut off weirdly. After that, I received a text with just "Hi". Seems fishy, so I blocked it and reported straight away.

Got a call from a mobile around 4.13 am, which is super weird. I sent back a couple of texts just saying "Hi" to see if it was someone I knew. Totally didn’t recognize the number and honestly, no one I’m familiar with calls me at that hour. I’ve blocked the number now and have reported the texts to 7726.
