Got a weird text claiming I'd been near someone with Omicron. Seems totally dodgy to me. Must be a scam trying to freak people out or steal info. Don’t fall for these fake Covid alerts, just ignore and block the number.

I got a couple of texts this morning saying they were from NHS Track and Trace, telling me I'd been near someone with Omicron. The message asked me to follow a link to buy a PCR test kit. It looked a bit sketchy, so I didn’t bother clicking it. Definitely watch out for these fake messages!
