I mentioned before that I’ve got a few texts from numbers that look alike, claiming my Apple Pay got blocked and asking me to put in my card info again. I never replied since my Apple Pay works fine. Then, over the past week, two separate texts came from different but similar numbers saying, “Mum I’ve smashed my phone, reach me on WhatsApp with other numbers.” I didn’t respond, but thought I’d share in case anyone else gets these sorts of messages.
