Got a text off some bloke claiming he’s from West Yorkshire (I’m down south), saying he’s lost power and has no food, asking me to send money. Smells like another dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from some Asian guy on 07543330887 who claimed he was from The Investigations Dept at Citizens Advice Bureau. I couldn’t help but chuckle. These scammers are so stubborn, I’ve lost count - probably got around 20 calls from them. Whenever I block one number, they just ring back from another mobile.

They said they were from some debt charity linked to citizen advice, but I’ve been tricked by these lot loads of times. I told the bloke to sod off and slammed the phone down. They’ve called me like 19 times, and when I picked up again, the foreign guy started shouting at me, telling me to get lost and other rude things.

Some bloke called asking if I was my mum, I asked what’s the issue and he said she supposedly owes £16,000. I asked who he was with and he said "Money Advice Service". When I asked how long they’d been running he just told me "don’t waste my time" and hung up. Like I’m the one bothering him here, if anyone’s wasting time, it’s him. Total muppet.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice, saying I owe money and they have documents with my name on them. I told him he must have mixed up the info and asked him to remove my details and stop ringing me. He insisted he was right and said he'd keep calling. I’ve blocked the number now, but weirdly, he’s still managing to get through!

This bloke keeps ringing me over and over about debts. He always uses a different firm’s name but it’s the same man, same voice. Every time, he sounds proper annoyed when I hang up quickly. I’ve blocked at least 3 different mobiles from him now, so it’s definitely not just one number.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming to be from a debt company, asking for my details. I just ended the call straight away cos I was certain it was a scam. He even said he could clear my debts, Total scammer. Sounded like he was talking from some call centre or something.

Got a call from this number today, and when I wouldn’t give out any details, the bloke started swearing loads. Was even worse coz I was on hands-free in the car with my 9-year-old daughter sitting right next to me. Told him about my daughter and he just kept dropping the F-bombs like mad. Proper rude!

Got a call out of the blue from a guy who sounded South Asian, saying I owed some debt. The cheeky bloke then threatened to shove something up my backside! I just told him I’m ready whenever he is. Honestly, it’s mad how these people get hold of your number in the first place. Kinda sad that in this day and age, folks still bother with these prank calls. He sounded well grown up too - honestly feel bad for the lad’s kids.

Before he could say more, I told him straight up they’re scammers and to stop ringing me. Weirdly, he knew my first name.

Got a call from some Indian firm pretending to be a credit check company for citizen advice, said I owed money when I didn’t. When I told the bloke I hadn’t, he called me a liar over the phone. Asked him to remove my number under GDPR, and he said he couldn't cause it wasn't a sales call. Total scam, best to just ignore it. The guy was really rude, so I gave him a piece of my mind before hanging up and blocking the number. They keep ringing from all sorts of different mobile numbers.

Got a call from 07543 330887, and they asked for my bank info. They even knew my name! The person said I supposedly had debts I was paying every month. When I told them that wasn’t right, they ended the call quickly. Be careful and don’t share your details with them!

This number phoned me claiming I'd been picked for some government scheme that clears up to 60% of any unsecured debts. The bloke called himself Peter Jones (yeah right, had a proper Indo/Asian accent). I told him I owed 65 million, he started chuckling. So I asked why the laugh, seeing as it was to the Inland Revenue I owed it. Then he just said "Good day" and hung up on me. Absolutely priceless!

they said they worked for some government office. took me ages to figure out what was really going on - they called themselves a credit investigation team but actually are a business pushing iva’s that make them money. they wanted to sell me a plan that would end up making me pay debts for 4 years longer and wreck my credit score badly. very pushy and sneaky. really dodgy, avoid them.

I’ve been getting loads of calls from this number and a bloke using different ones I’ve blocked already. They keep claiming they’re from some Credit Investigation Bureau. I told them I’m not interested in an IVA or bankruptcy, and the guy actually shouted down the phone, “Who said you were interested?” before hanging up. He rings pretty much daily now and I’m starting to feel really harassed. It always happens while I’m at work, so I have to leave what I’m doing to deal with this annoying tosser.
