I picked up the phone and the guy said my number came up because of some unpaid bank fees. He was going on about how the banks had sent out letters about PPI claims I supposedly never got. I told him I’d get in touch with the bank on my own and that there’s no way I’m handing over 30 percent to him!

This number has popped up loads of times as a missed call on my phone. Every time I ring back, it just cuts me off and goes to some answering machine that says 'Welcome to the O2 Messaging Service', but you can’t leave a message ‘cause the mailbox is full or something. Proper frustrating. Feels like it’s someone real trying to reach me. After seeing what others wrote here, I’ve blocked the number now using the Mr Number app - it’s great for stopping unwanted calls and texts.
