Got a call supposedly from Amazon about an automatic subscription renewal. They told me to press 1 to talk to a supervisor if I wanted to cancel. Then they asked me to install an app called Anydesk from the app store to give me a “cancellation code.” Seems dodgy to me. I checked with Amazon and they said they never call customers about this stuff, only send emails instead. Definitely looks like some kind of scam.
