On 26/2/2025, I got a call from a bloke named Stephen claiming to be from National Drainage. He had an East Anglian accent and somehow already knew my full address, including the postcode. Turned out to be one of those dodgy drainage survey scams.

There was something fishy about that call. I mentioned this, and the person on the other end just politely hung up. If they were genuine, you'd think they'd have some sort of plan or info about their access points.

I got a call from some drainage firm and what really threw me off was they already had my name and exact address, post code and all, without me giving it to them. They told me they were nearby and offering a no-cost check that wouldn’t even require them to enter the house. Tried to tell them we weren’t interested and before I could finish, the bloke just hung up on me.
