got a text about a boots hearing aids appointment and they said to ring if i wanted to cancel. sounded pretty real too. i was sure i hadn’t booked anything, but just to be safe i checked again.

My 94 year old mum got a call from an automated voice asking her to confirm her covid vaccine appointment. Definitely seems like one of those scam calls.

I came across a post on a local Facebook community page warning about a new COVID-related scam. They’re calling older folks claiming they've been chosen for a vaccine. If they happen to tap on the number to find out more, it ends up charging their phone bill loads. Seriously, don’t click on any links or numbers like that. Best bet is to just block and delete the number straight away. Stay safe everyone!

My old neighbour got a call from this number, and some robot voice said she'd been chosen for the covid jab and asked her to press a button to sort out the appointment. She just ended the call straight away.

Got three calls today, all just jibber jabber with no voicemail left. Feels like a scam or something dodgy to me.

On 1st September 2020 around 5pm, I got a call from 07537400307. My phone indicated I'd got a voicemail, so I checked it out. But oddly, it only was some weird message asking if I’d got a message, with nothing else there. I don’t reckon I’ve ever had a call from this number before either.
