Got a call from some bloke abroad who mumbled our name and then just dropped the call. Honestly, the world's full of trouble and these dodgy characters are just out here trying to rip folks off.

Figured it was a cell phone, so I picked up. A woman was on the line, saying she was nearby. She wanted to pop over and inspect my doors and windows. I told her mine had been replaced not long ago.

They rang me a couple of times earlier today but when I tried ringing them back, I got a message saying the number wasn’t in service.

I came across a rather intriguing green initiative that was advertising discounts on windows and insulation. They claimed to collaborate with the government and boasted about a unique chance to acquire high-quality insulation at an unbelievably low cost. However, upon doing a bit of digging, I found no trace of their business anywhere, which led me to suspect that it might be nothing more than a scam.

Got a really dodgy call about some property heating stuff, felt super sketchy and they kept pushing way too much - honestly a bit of a hassle and pretty uncomfortable.

I got a call from this number while I was at my desk, but when I answered, they just hung up! So, I replied with a cheeky message telling them to get a real job instead of bothering people then cutting off. Feels good to have put them in their place!

Whenever I get a call from a number I don’t recognise, I always look it up on WCM first. Like another person mentioned, loads of folks are using mobiles these days just to hassle you! No voice message or anything left behind! It’s so irritating and I never bother to ring them back. Just ignore them, most likely a scam! If anyone’s after new windows or something, make sure to go for a proper, trustworthy company - check reviews thoroughly and don’t rush into anything!

Got a call from some "green" outfit claiming they offer discounts on windows if they're over 10 years old. They were the third caller of the day, but the last two digits of the number kept changing with each call. Checked on the government site and no such programme exists right now. Told them to shove it and blocked the number. They can be pretty pushy when you hang up on them.

Got a call from someone saying they were doing tests on windows that are older than 10 years, offering to check mine for heat loss since they've got someone in my town this week. I said thanks but no thanks, real polite. Funny thing is, I actually do need new windows, but with all the dodgy callers out there, I just can't trust 'em these days.
