Got a call from a private number but they didn't say anything or leave a message.

I got a call from an unknown number so I used the Mr Number app and it flagged it as a possible scam, so I went ahead and blocked it.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a lady of Asian descent who had a rather limited grasp of the English language. She claimed to be representing my local housing agency and said she wished to discuss my tenancy. Utter nonsense, as I'm a homeowner and have nothing to do with any housing agency! It felt like a feeble attempt to pull a fast one. Absolute rubbish! I've promptly added her number to my blocked list!

Some guy called Mike with an indian accent rang me and asked straight up for me by name. He was asking if I was satisfied with the local council and if there were any problems I was dealing with. I think he was trying to get me to admit that I had issues so he could maybe offer help with some sort of claim or complaint.

Someone rang me but didn’t leave any voicemail or info about who they were. Honestly, if they don’t bother to leave a message, I doubt it’s a legit call.

Got a couple of rings then just cut off. Probably one of those market survey calls - blocked the number straight away.
