Got a robocall saying it was from HMRC, threatening legal action and telling me to press 1 to talk to some case officer. I just cut off straight away cos it didn't sound right. Real HMRC always sends letters first, uses your name and references your NI number. Sounds like these scammers just wanna trick you into handing over your bank info. Definitely dodgy!
