This morning I got a call from 07537184095, and the person on the line told me the police were on their way to arrest me, which made no sense at all. They really frightened me and then started shouting and insulting me.

Got a robo call from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I’m being taken to court and to press 1 to talk to my case worker. Just ended the call straight away - total scam! They sometimes use different numbers like 07537 121044 too.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, tried to trick me into giving my bank info. Definitely a scam!

I got a call from this number earlier, saying they’d been trying to reach us about some legal action and claimed to be from HMRC. It was an automated message, spoken by a clearly British-accented woman. At the end, they asked me to press 1 to talk to someone handling the case. I didn’t press anything, but just a heads up, this sounds like a scam. I’m pretty certain HMRC would send a letter in the post if there was any real issue.

Had a call today from someone saying they were HMRC and threatening legal action against me. I could tell it was a scam, but since the number showed as a UK mobile, I picked up anyway. The guy on the other end had an Asian accent, so I asked him straight away if he could prove he was actually from HMRC. His reply? "Of course, I can verify it with one word - f*** off!" Though, really, that's two words, innit!

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, typical scam stuff, but they actually got us to search a number online. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
