Got a message from someone claiming to be HSBC saying they arranged a payment from my account to someone else. Thing is, I don’t even bank with HSBC. I didn’t pick up the call or click on any links in the text. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

I didnt answer this call, but if what someone mentioned below is right and its a survey about your money, then its defo something to stay clear of!!! There’s loads of scammers these days trying to trick you out of your savings so best just to block and ignore. I’ve always said, banks hardly ever ring unless you’ve asked them to, so no one else should be poking around your finances!! Proper phishing scam for sure.
