Received a rather irritating call from someone I don’t recognise.

I was out doing a bit of shopping when I received a call from them, and they promised me a 20% discount. However, they only mentioned the last couple of digits of my bank account and didn't have any of my other details, which struck me as odd. I decided to hang up, but they proceeded to bombard me with calls after that. In the end, I had no choice but to block their number!

Without a doubt, this is yet another one of those dodgy scam numbers. They're even pestering folks who don't even use O2, promising them some supposedly 'exclusive discounts.' A mate of mine got caught up in one of these O2 scams before, so my advice is to just block the number outright. Stay safe!

I recently noticed a missed call from this number and, assuming it might be a familiar face, I attempted to ring them back. What I encountered, however, was quite unsettling. An American woman's voice answered with a rather suspicious voicemail, stating, “All of our agents are currently occupied. Kindly leave a comprehensive message after the beep, and one will return your call shortly.” I found it all a bit too odd for my liking, so I opted not to provide any information and promptly ended the call, subsequently blocking the number. Notably, there was no mention of the “company” or organisation attempting to reach me, which further raised my eyebrows. All in all, I’m convinced this is a shady scam operation.

Got a dodgy call from someone claiming to be O2, which is rather odd since I'm not even their customer. They were banging on about some sort of discount. Comes across as a bit fishy, if you ask me!
