Got a text from this number 07529673766 saying it was Apple telling me Apple Pay was turned off on my phone. They wanted me to click a link that said submit-wallet or something like that. Honestly, no way was I gonna hand over my wallet details to these con artists! I’m on Android anyway, so Apple stuff is off limits for me - kinda feel like they’re just scammers in fancy clothing, maybe some of the best around for fooling people!

Got a scam message today. It's annoying because blocking doesn’t really help, these fraudsters keep cycling through thousands of fake numbers made by computers. I came across a post that explains how you can report these scams to the police, who sometimes look into them. Also, it might be worth reaching out to your local MP to see what the government’s doing about these scam calls and texts. You can find out how to email your MP via the UK Parliament website - I got a pretty eye-opening reply myself.

About a page ago, on the 23rd of April, someone mentioned that you can actually report these scam calls straight to the police’s fraud database. Honestly, if folks don’t bother taking a minute to file a report, then the cops won't really understand how bad or widespread these scams are. It’s like they’re flying blind without our help.
