Some people just showed up at our door and I mentioned I was keen on glazing. Later on, when me and my husband weren’t home, they turned up again and started giving him a hard time, saying we were just messing them about. Honestly, it felt really awkward and unsettling that they actually came back to the house like that.

Got a call from them about double glazing. My missus had shown interest thinking it was some government grant for glazing. But instead of just explaining the grant, they were keen on coming round to quote in person. That set alarm bells ringing for me - seemed dodgy. Then they started calling my number, not hers, demanding we both be available, even though I’m not involved in it at all. I told them to forget it and not to bother turning up. Feels like a proper pressure selling scam. Best steer clear.
