This seems like a scam, they’re just after your personal info. These numbers aren’t from Barclays at all. If anyone says they’re from Barclays, just hang up and get in touch with your bank yourself through the app or by logging into the official Barclays website. Don’t trust calls like this!

Got a call off some bloke who sounded totally American, claimed he was from Barclays bank. He went on about how I'd wanna listen to him about investments and how he'd keep ringing until I was hooked. Even said that if I just ended the call, he'd still be taking money off me somehow. I made it clear I wasn’t having any of it and told him to buzz off before hanging up. He even tried to confirm my number and said I’d supposedly asked for the call. Proper dodgy, that one.

Got a call from this number around noon. A woman asked for me but she completely messed up my name. When I asked who she was, she got pretty pushy. I didn’t feel like giving out any info. I got a call from a landline, and on the other end was a woman with a really thick accent. She asked if she'd reached a particular person, but I didn't hear the name properly.
