Oh, please! I got a call about some supposed PPI claim, like I've got heaps of cash waiting for me or something ... yeah, right! These scams are so blatantly obvious that it’s laughable anyone would fall for them, at least for those of us who actually put a bit of thought into how modern communication works. That said, these con artists probably wouldn’t bother if there weren’t still plenty of gullible people out there to take the bait! For those of us with busy, real lives, these calls are just annoying background noise. Honestly, when you think about it properly, you can’t help but feel a bit sorry for these scammers - they could be using their time and energy for something positive instead. It’s quite tragic, really.

Just got a message from them about some PPI claim I don't even remember making. Quite annoying really.

Got a text saying "we've been trying to reach you about your PPI claim. We now have the amount you're entitled to..." Thing is, I've never even made a PPI claim or had PPI at all. Clearly another scam trying to trick people.

Got a message from someone saying I could claim PPI, asking me to text them back - definitely a scam!
