Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, spoke with a strong Asian accent and kept asking for my name and postcode, saying bailiffs were on their way. Total scam. They claimed I owed about £2000 in tax or something. Bit odd since I have an accountant who handles all my tax stuff anyway. I can imagine how upsetting this would be for older folks though.
