I got a call from this number, and some bloke with a really thick accent said his name was “Abraham Lincoln” and claimed he was from some telecom firm needing info about my phone. I joked, saying that’s a famous name! They laughed and compared it to a character from the Flintstones. I kept the chat brief because it felt like a dodgy scam call. Then I remembered they rang me the day before too, even though I’d told them not to call again. I didn’t share anything, but somehow they had my name and number already - which I guess they can find easily through my line of work. I’m convinced it’s a scam because of those fake-sounding names and their claim they’re with O2. O2 wouldn’t be using random third parties like this, no way. Just a heads up to be cautious with weird calls like this! - caller was +44 7520 646972
