Don't ever share your details with these lot, they pretend to be some credit checking agency but never mention a proper company name. They used a mobile number and had fake background noises to sound like a noisy call centre. When I pointed out they were scammers and mentioned they sounded like an internet call service, the guy got nasty, insulted me, then just slammed the phone down. Proper dodgy, stay clear!

they're just gathering info and then ringing you out of the blue.

Felt like one of those dodgy call centre scams, honestly. It just seemed off from the start.

I got a call from a woman who was trying to sell me some kind of financial service. She mentioned my full name straight away, so it was pretty clear they had my info from a database. I missed the company’s name though, she didn't say it right away.
