This Indian lady kept ringing me, calling me by my first name like she knew me for years. She said something about a loan, but I never applied for anything like that. She kept switching just one digit in the mobile number, obviously trying to reach me. It was getting quite annoying, especially since I’ve got loads of appointments and had to pick up the phone. I asked her nicely to remove my number, but she actually laughed! After that, I told her off properly and blocked the number again. It’s a bit of a hassle, honestly.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming he was from some debt recovery firm. He said I owed money to one of the utility companies here in the UK. Thing is, all my bills go out automatically by direct debit and I’ve never missed a payment. Pretty clear it was just a scam. I didn’t even waste time and just blocked the number.
