Absolute numpties ringing me up almost 9 at night, pushing some mortgage nonsense. I sometimes think about what kind of life leads someone to cold call strangers for a living. Maybe next time I’ll actually chat with one of them and try to figure out their story. Today though, I just hung up before they got halfway through their boring sales pitch.

I told this person, who sounded like a mortgage broker, that I'd already paid off my mortgage. Instead of backing off, she kept being really rude and quite aggressive. In the end, I just had to hang up.

I didn't pick up the phone when they rang, and when I tried ringing back, I kept getting a recorded message saying all lines are busy. They didn’t leave me any voicemail either. So, I looked up the number online and found out they’re just scammers. Thought I’d warn others!

Got a call from someone looking for Mr. Patel, but I'm a woman and definitely not Mrs. Patel either. I told the caller firmly a couple of times that they dialled the wrong number, but they sounded odd and kept going.
