Got a text that was exactly like what everyone else is saying, says “free msg.” Looks like a proper scam to me! I’ve sent the number straight to Vodafone’s spam line (87726) and reckon you should too. I’m also on the TPS so these messages don’t get through often.

Someone tagged me in a promo post with a link out of the blue. I didn’t bother clicking it and just deleted it straight away. Honestly, if you’re not certain about what a link leads to, best to avoid clicking. I definitely see this as quite risky.

Just got a text saying I was tagged in some promo thing, didn't bother clicking the link - seemed dodgy to me! I blocked the number and marked it as spam straight away. Gonna double check my mobile account to make sure they haven't sneaked any charges in despite calling it a 'free msg'. The link was something like shortyz(###]. Nah, pass for me.
