Got a message from 07520615030 sayin there’s a Google link with some photos shared. When I clicked, I saw a payment receipt I’d sent my missus on WhatsApp clear as day. Felt really fishy, so I deleted the message straight away and blocked the number. Don’t recommend anyone clicking that link. Plus, the number doesn’t seem to be registered at all. Very shady if you ask me.

Going through the comments, it’s pretty odd that everyone’s mutual mate is sharing pics with some link attached, don't you think? I’m certainly not about to pay just to find out what that link leads to. Best just to ignore and delete it. Definitely not something good, for sure.

Got a google photo album shared by some Andrew Man bloke, no idea who he is. Feels like they’re just some random dodgy lot trying their luck. Heard from someone else they got billed after texting STOP, so best just block them and bin it, honestly!

My sister was trying to send a picture on her android through whatsapp, but when she used the share button on her camera app, google automatically created a shared album link and ended up sending it from this phone number. Feels like a mix of confusing design and a finger slip, or just google doing its usual thing, poking where it maybe shouldn't. That number looks like it's some google-generated link bridging the web and mobile text network.

I had a peculiar message pop up from this number, claiming that a contact from my phone had shared a photo album and suggested I click on a link. Now, I can assure you that this individual wouldn’t have the faintest idea about sending links, nor would they ever share pictures in such a manner. To top it off, the name mentioned was an overseas one, yet the number unmistakably belonged to a UK line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

So I got this text saying "Google user shared an album with you (link) on Google Photos. Reply STOP to stop getting shares". I took a look at the link on my computer just to be sure, and it turned out a mate had actually sent me some photos through Google Photos. Though, it seemed like it wasn't properly connected or synced from their account when they did it. Quite weird but harmless I guess.
