I got a text saying it was from the Post Office about a missed parcel delivery. Since I was expecting something, I almost believed it. The message directed me to a website to organise a new delivery time. But things felt off when they wanted my full name and date of birth. I put in a fake birth date just to check, and then they said I’d have to pay £2.10 for the re-delivery. That’s not something the Post Office ever asks for. The website looked pretty convincing though. Absolutely a scam - watch out!

I’m really glad I trusted my gut about that email. I looked up the phone number and found all these reviews warning about it. The message claimed it was from the post office, saying no one was in and to arrange another delivery day. Plus, it mentioned the driver was delayed, which seemed odd. I’m elderly and have mobility issues, so there’s no way I wouldn’t be home. After reading what others said, I won’t be responding to anything like that ever again!

Thing is, it was nothing like the real Royal Mail site - I know what the genuine one looks like since I’ve actually arranged re-deliveries before.
