Just got a call from a bloke claiming to be a conservation officer for our local postcode, saying the fibre loft insulation is no longer up to standard and must be changed. He was trying to set up an inspection for tomorrow, mentioning we're among the rare ones not already scheduled. We might be pensioners, but we're not daft, and there's no way we're letting him inside. Honestly, if he managed to get up in our loft, I’d be tempted to lock him in there!

We got calls from this guy a few times about some loft insulation appointment. We told him we never booked anything and then he started getting a bit frustrated with us.

Yesterday morning, this number rang me once more. The caller claimed that one of his mates was supposed to come see me later that day. I told him no, he didn’t insulate my loft, my son in law handled that, and called him out for trying to scam me. He just ended the call. Honestly, I’m quite concerned they’ve got my personal info - name, phone number, and even my address.
