I picked up the phone and there was silence at first, then suddenly a recorded message came on saying it was from HMRC. They claimed someone was committing fraud with my details and said if I didn’t press one to talk to an agent, they’d issue a warrant for my arrest. Yeah right, what a total scam. I’ve blocked the number, no way I’m falling for that nonsense.
