Got a call from a Scottish lady claiming to be from Green Deal Funding. I asked her to confirm the company name and why she was calling from a mobile, she just said "I dunno, I just work here." When I asked where she was based, she just hung up. I'm on the TPS list, so I shouldn't be getting calls like this. I've reported it to TPS and made sure to mention that it was a mobile number, which makes me think they might be trying to dodge detection.

Just got a call from someone asking if I was interested in Green Deal Funding, the bloke had a Scottish accent. When I gave my postcode, he said they don’t cover any windows in my area (PO30+). I asked where they got my info from and he said some national database. I asked him to remove my details because of GDPR, but he just said he didn’t know what GDPR was and then hung up on me.

Got a call again from this number. They know my name and phone details, but since GDPR came into effect on 25/05/2018, I never gave permission for them to keep any of my data. Plus, for some reason, they can't or won't take me off their list. They’re dodgy and it baffles me that no official body has cracked down on them for breaking GDPR rules.

Get yourself one of those caller ID gadgets, coz even if the phone rings, I don’t pick it up till the machine tells me who’s on the other end. We’ve actually disconnected the bedroom extension to block those annoying early morning or late at night calls. They only stop calling once they realise no one’s gonna answer. I’ve had calls anytime from just before 5am right through till nearly midnight, all day long. What a complete nightmare! I encountered a rather unpleasant individual with a thick Scottish brogue. When I mentioned that the person they were seeking had passed away not long ago, they found it amusing, which I found utterly distasteful. To top it all off, they bombarded me with calls-nine times in just four hours. Over the course of three days, I received a staggering 19 calls from this dreadful creature! I've finally had enough and blocked them. Just a word of caution to others: they truly embody the lowest of the low!

I've been getting calls from scammers with a Scottish accent too. They often use names like "Green Deal Financing" and chat about double glazing, but never share any real info about themselves. If you ask too much, they just end the call. Now, I keep a super noisy dog whistle near my phone, so every time they ring, they get blasted with it!

They keep ringing me up all the time asking for the old tenant by name. I’ve told them loads of times she doesn’t live here anymore, but then they always try to ask if I’m the owner or tenant. I’ve told them over and over to stop phoning, but they just don’t listen. How come they can keep pestering me like this? There’s no way for me to block the number on my landline.

I’ve put a complaint in with the TPS. Sick of them ringing constantly - either it’s just silence or some pre-recorded message telling me I can opt out, but that never seems to do any good! They even had the cheek to call at half past eight on Easter Sunday night!

They rang twice again today, and when I tried to tell them yet again to stop, the bloke was really rude, said I was interrupting him when I was just trying to explain. Then he said he’d ring me back tonight. I’m definitely reporting this as a Data Protection Act violation.

Had a couple of calls from someone looking for a Mr or Mrs Jennifer, which is just bizarre because I've never heard of anyone by that name. It's rather unsettling, to be honest, especially with them trying twice already and not bothering to introduce themselves. Quite the intrusion, if you ask me!

Received a robotic call yesterday regarding the Green Deal for windows. I pressed 5 out of curiosity to learn more, especially since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Today, another call came through claiming to be from Greendeal Energy. I made it clear that I’m on the TPS and would be lodging a complaint. The chap had a distinct Scottish accent.

I asked how he got their phone numbers and why he was ringing on Good Friday, but he just kept quiet. Then he started banging on about money for fixing our windows. Total scammers, I reckon.
