Just got two texts, one right after the other, both saying "Dad, save my new number." Pretty weird.

Today hubby got a text saying "hello dad, this is my new number". He asked who it was and the reply came back "your favourite kid". He answered that all his kids are his favourite. After that, no more messages. We’ve blocked and reported the number now.

Got a text saying, "mum, this is my new number save it" but I don't have any kids. Could be some kind of trick or just a mix-up, but either way it's suspicious.
