Like many folks have pointed out, this is totally a phishing con.

Got a message claiming to be from PayPal saying my account was frozen and needed me to click a link to fix it. I got suspicious and double-checked with PayPal, and they said it wasn’t from them at all. Clearly a dodgy phishing attempt.

They claim it's PayPal but I highly doubt it. No way it's legit.

Got a text saying my PayPal got restricted cause of a failed payment, but I havent used PayPal for payments lately. I called PayPal myself and they said the message wasnt from them. There was a link saying to log into ‘my account’. Its clearly a phishing attempt - dont click the link, just bin the message!

Got a text saying my PayPal account has some restrictions. I'm pretty sure it's a dodgy scam.
