I've just received a text message that is exactly the same as what was mentioned above, claiming that I'm late in claiming back my bank charges. It's patently a scam, so I urge everyone to steer clear and not engage with it.

Received a text message earlier today claiming that £750 would be deposited into our account on the very same day without any credit checks. I recognise this is rather dodgy, to say the least, but I won't be returning the call. Just a word of caution for everyone out there!

We’ve received the same annoying call too! It was downright impolite - it’s baffling that we’ve never encountered them before. They seemed to presume we’re completely oblivious to current affairs, simply because we hesitated to divulge our birth date without first verifying their legitimacy through a website or some sort of documentation! Such behaviour is shockingly unprofessional, especially considering that they claim to operate legitimately!

Received a call earlier today. There was quite a bit of commotion in the background, and as soon as we answered, they hung up. Quite odd!

We've received the same call as well, and honestly, it's rather off-putting! It’s hard to believe we’ve never encountered them before, yet they had the audacity to claim we're out of the loop regarding current affairs. All because we hesitated to share our birth date before checking out their website or any info they supplied! This sort of behaviour is quite unprofessional, especially considering they maintain a façade of legitimacy!

I received a rather similar message from what seems to be the same lot, possibly trying to get us to contact that 01792 470077 number. The message reads: "Are you in need of some quick cash? Give 01792 470077 a bell, and have a natter with one of our amiable advisors. No credit checks necessary, and they’ll provide you with an instant cash quote - reference RO701." It strikes me that these folks are definitely branching out. Interestingly, I got a message from another number as well - 07501222296 (not . . 95). Thought it would be worth mentioning!

I received a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be from the "Bank Charge Recovery Service." We made it very clear that we wished to be removed from their contact list. The caller responded with, "I don't think you understand who I am, darling; we can remove you from the list, but we could also take your money along with us." We reiterated our request to be taken off her list (and asked her not to refer to us as "darling"). Her reply was simply, "Fine, ta-ta," before disconnecting. Just moments later, they rang back; we could hear chatter in the background. When I answered with "hello?", silence followed, and she hung up again.

I just received the same call from a rather rude and unprofessional lady. She claimed we were overdue on bank charges, which struck me as rather odd since I've never encountered any bank charges in my life. According to her, our number is listed on a 'Government Database' for reclaiming bank charges. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this.

We've just received a text message from these folks stating: "YOU MAY HAVE MISSED OUT ON CLAIMING BACK YOUR BANK CHARGES. TO INITIATE YOUR CLAIM, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH THE BANK RECOVERY SERVICE ON 01792 470077. REFERENCE NUMBER #####." There's no way I’m ringing them back, as I've never encountered them before. Sounds quite dodgy to me!

We've received this message twice now. I brushed it off the first occasion, but just tried ringing the number again. Despite making nearly ten attempts, it's constantly engaged. I'm relieved we checked this site because we’re definitely not going to pursue it any further. We're planning to inform our network provider and ask them to bar the number; fingers crossed that does the trick!
