Received quite an odd phone call today from a lady with an Indian accent claiming to be associated with the BT call centre. She was keen to talk about the alleged issues with my broadband speed. Right from the outset, something felt off. I can spot a con when it’s staring me in the face, particularly when they start fishing for my personal details without batting an eyelid!
