this bloke called saying he was with bt, said there were warnings online about hackers trying to nick people's info. then he passed me to some “supervisor” named alex who asked me to open up a website. sounded dodgy from the start. i didn’t fall for any of it and said i worked with the police. he soon ended the call after claiming he was from the “military”. total scam, no doubt about it.

I called back but ended up on the answerphone. A woman’s voice started talking about “errors found” but then suddenly stopped. It felt dodgy, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Whenever I try to ring back, it says the number isn’t recognised, so I’ve just blocked it now.
