The phone rang but they hung up just before I could get to it.

Got a call from an unfamiliar number, the person spoke English asking me to press ’1’ on the phone. After that, there was a voice message in Chinese, probably the same thing. I didn’t respond and they just ended the call. Feels like one of those scams trying to get you onto a premium line or checking if your number’s live. I’m marking it as suspicious. My own go-to rule is: if you weren’t waiting for the call, don’t know who it’s from, and they want you to hit any number - just hang up straight away, no questions.
