A chap came a-knocking at our front door here in Ryton, Tyne and Wear, claiming he was offering car wash services. He introduced himself as Andrew. We were a bit wary, so I decided to look up the number he provided.

Initially, I received a call from a chap inquiring about Adam. I politely informed him he had the wrong number. Shortly after, I found myself bombarded with calls and texts asking, “Am I gay, yes or no?” It became quite bothersome. I decided to block that number, yet the harassment persisted, with calls coming from a ‘No Caller ID’ source.

Echoing many of the previous experiences here...
Had a phone call inquiring for a chap named Paul, but I informed them it was the wrong number. After that, I started getting a series of texts from someone claiming to be "Jeff," all along the same lines, which prompted me to block the number. Subsequently, I've been bombarded with calls from a withheld number at odd hours.

A woman answered on the phone, inquiring about someone named Paul, but it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. She quickly apologised and hung up, and that’s about all the interaction I’ve had with them so far.

A lady answered, inquiring about someone named Paul, but quickly realised she'd dialed the wrong digit. She apologised and then promptly ended the call. So that's the gist of my experience with them thus far!

I received a rather bothersome call from this fool who parroted the same lines as other journalists. I informed him that I would be forwarding his number to the authorities. Interestingly, he claimed he would be cutting off my number in the process. What a cheek!

Just like others have reported, I got a call from this mysterious number. Foolishly, I picked up, and it turned out to be a chap with an accent from Newcastle or Sunderland, asking for someone named Paul. When I informed him I wasn't Paul, he quickly apologised - turns out it was a case of mistaken identity. After that, I began receiving bizarre messages asking if I was gay, yes or no? I responded with a polite 'no', yet the messages kept coming. Eventually, I decided enough was enough, stopped replying, and blocked the number altogether. Ridiculous!

I've been inundated with missed calls lately. I've received texts probing about my sexuality, which is frankly none of their business. The phone's been incessantly ringing, accompanied by some rather nasty voicemails. I've had to block the number, but now they’re harassing me from a private line. It's relentless and incredibly frustrating; they just won't take a hint and leave me be.

Had a similar issue back on 30th April 2017. Received calls and texts from a rather unsavoury chap, quite rude and inappropriate if I'm honest. I simply chose to ignore them altogether.

I kept getting calls on my wife’s mobile at all sorts of odd hours, so I decided to ring them back from my own phone. To my surprise, the operator just said, “Sorry, you’ve dialled the wrong number.” Shortly after, I received a rather cheeky text asking if I was some sort of sleazy gay chap. I responded in a civil tone, telling them where to go, and promptly blocked the number.

The caller appeared to be in her fifties and seemed to think I was someone named Bernadette or something along those lines. This was the second time she attempted to reach me before I returned her call.
