Got a call from a bloke looking for someone called Adam, I told him he had the wrong number. Then I started getting loads of calls and texts asking ‘Am I gay yes or no’. I blocked the number but the calls still came through from a private number that showed 'No Caller ID'. Proper annoying!

Got a call looking for someone named Paul, but I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then I started getting texts from someone calling themselves "Jeff" along the same lines, so I just blocked the number. After that, I kept getting calls from a withheld number, all at different times during the day.

I received a call from this number and decided to text them for clarification, asking who they were. A woman answered on the phone, inquiring about someone named Paul, but it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. She quickly apologised and hung up, and that’s about all the interaction I’ve had with them so far.

Some idiot called me, going on about the same stuff as those other survey people. I ended up saying I’d be giving his number straight to the cops. Funny thing, he actually said he was gonna block me!

Just like some others, I got a ring from this unfamiliar number. Foolishly, I picked up and it was a guy speaking with a Geordie or Sunderland accent, looking for someone named Paul. I told him he had the wrong person and he said sorry, quick hang up. Soon after, I started getting texts asking if I was gay or not. I replied saying no, but the messages kept coming. Eventually, I stopped responding and just blocked the number.

So many calls I missed today, it was unbelievable. Then got texts asking if I was gay, which was weird. They kept calling over and over, even left nasty messages on my voicemail. I blocked them, but now they’re using a private number and still won’t stop ringing. Really frustrating!

Got the same thing on 30/04/17, some bloke kept ringin and texting. I just didn’t bother with it.

Got loads of calls on my wife’s mobile really late at night, so I rang the number back from my own phone. The person answering just said “sorry, wrong number.” Afterwards, I got a text asking if I was some kind of dirty gay bloke. I politely told them to jog on and then blocked the number straight away.
