I received a voicemail from the number 07494360853. It was a woman’s voice requesting that I verify some dubious transactions made on my Visa credit card. Sounds like yet another scam to me.

I had this number blocked through BT Call Protect, so I just ignored it.

Got a call from a woman’s recorded voice asking me to verify a Visa card purchase for around £900. Didn’t say if it was a credit or debit card, or which bank it was with. I didn’t press any buttons as I was pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call with a lady’s recorded voice saying it was Amazon and I’d been charged £746.00. She told me to press 1 if I didn’t make the purchase so I could talk to someone. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.
