I received a rather ambiguous call from a woman regarding a life insurance policy, which she claimed I held with Legal and General and that it required a review due to the financial adviser who initially set it up having gone out of business. She mentioned something about potential coverage issues for customers, but the problem is, I don't even have such a policy in the first place! I requested that she send me a written confirmation and suggested we could discuss it afterward over the phone, but she outright declined, insisting they only operate via telephone. I’ve had enough of this nonsense and will be blocking the number.
