Got a text saying it was from HMRC telling me I could claim a tax refund of about £383.70. It had a link to “calculate and claim” and when i clicked it, it asked for my postcode. At first it looked legit, like the real HMRC website but it definitely wasnt. Watch out for this, it’s a fake!

got a message saying theres a £350 tax refund waiting for me, with a link to get it. ignored it, blocked the sender and deleted the text straight away.

just got a call from hmrc or whatever, said i can get £383 back if i click their link. sounds dodgy to me!
