I just got a message from this number purporting to be from Royal Mail, but when I checked their official site, that tracking number doesn’t exist. Quite clearly a scam! I've gone ahead and blocked the number on my mobile.

I didn’t have a card handy, and the link wouldn’t load for me. My advice? Do yourself a favour and steer clear of that link. It feels rather dodgy, if you ask me.

I came across a link that had "royalmailgb.org" in it, and it instantly raised my suspicions. I figured this can't be genuine since the official Royal Mail tracking site uses "royalmail.com." So, I went ahead and punched my "tracking number" into the real site, only to be met with a message saying, "we're unable to recognise that number." That pretty much sealed the deal for me; it's clearly some sort of dodgy ploy, possibly trying to get at my phone details or pull a fast one for fees.
