Got a message from this number pretending to be HSBC, saying I needed to double-check a £95 payment to someone called J West. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with HSBC. The text had a link that looked super dodgy, obviously some kind of phishing scam.

I got a call, said it was from HSBC, warning that JWest was about to take £295 out of my bank account. They told me to click some link - definitely don’t fall for that!
